Chloë was born and raised in a small coastal town in California and studied Community Studies and Women’s Studies at University of California, Santa Cruz, going on to receive a Master's in Public Health at University of California, Los Angeles. She spent six years working in Public Health in the U.S. at Planned Parenthood and then with HIV positive youth at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Chloe's international experience began in Haiti in 1998 during college and was followed by work in Tanzania, Bali and 5 years living in rural and urban Haiti with Partners in Health and American Red Cross. Amidst all that Chloe pursued a personal interest to study midwifery and apprenticed at Bumi Sehat in Bali, Indonesia and in Catskill, New York and has assisted in the delivery of ~80 babies. Chloë recently left Trinidad and Tobago with American Red Cross as Regional Program Management Delegate where she worked for two years to join the team at Anderson Valley Health Center. She is joined by her husband Federico and two small kids Oliver and Amalia.
